Alternative energy markets, especially wind and solar power, are experiencing significant increases in product demand. ECG is utilizing Michigan’s deep expertise in precision machining, fabrication and assembly of high quality components to respond to this need.

Why did you choose St. Clair, Michigan for the new facility?
ECG has been focused on growing and expanding in Michigan. As a result, we have worked with MEDC to identify incentives for in-state locations. How does this benefit St. Clair and the State of Michigan?
It was estimated that the closing of Blue Water Automotive Plastics in Port Huron alone cost the St. Clair County over 1,000 lost jobs and the City of St. Clair over $100,000 in annual tax revenue. We will be seeking both professionals and skilled operators for the new facility, but are not accepting job applications until September, 2009.
